Synopsis:
The tale of Alessandro Stradella, musical lover. (That's musical lover as in 'musician and lothario', not as in 'fan of Rogers and Hammerstein'.) His affair with his pupil, Contessa Maria Cortese, sparks the wrath of her husband - just one of the enraged cuckolds Alessandro has left in his wake.
