Synopsis:
Malcolm Watts returns from a short painting holiday to an empty flat, courtesy of long-term partner Rhonda's plan to lease the property to a new tenant while she sets up home with a hitherto secret paramour. When Malcolm discovers that he hasn't a legal leg to stand on and that earnest military history obsessive Alan is poised to move in, he finds himself relying on neighbours Patrick and Kate to rescue the situation.
