Synopsis:
Second son Peter has inherited the crumbling stately pile but none of the money, which has gone to his brother. Peter, faced with the prospect of selling the delapidated home, is determined to restore the house to its former glory. The buyer turns out to be his elder brother Andrew who has designs on turning the ancestral home into his new corporate HQ. Peter makes a last ditch attempt to make the Manor profitable and so Merridale Spa is born, playground of the rich and gullible.
