Style:
A 15-minute Grand Guignol sketch. Loose updating of a tale by André de Lorde, with a modern feminist perspective added. It's entertainingly grim and gory, with suitable explanation as to how the goriness is to be staged.
Synopsis:
France, 1899. Once a gifted medical student, Julienne is now stuck being wife to Paul, the doctor at an asylum, who conducts terrible experiments on the prisoners. When Julienne's friend, local landowner Henri, discovers Paul’s secret, bloody violence and revenge ensues.
