Using flashbacks from the present day to the aftermath of World War 2, The Long Road uses the unravelling of the mystery of a broken friendship to explore the nature of memory and its impact on behaviour.
Rapid scene changes between the present day and Germany in 1946 require minimal sets, but ideally requires some large props (a hospital bed) and pyro effects.
