A historical drama for children, set in a collapsed mineshaft. In January 1839, seven children are working underground in the Lovers Bridge Colliery number four mine when they are trapped by a tunnel collapse. They stoically comfort each other in their fear as they wait for rescue which becomes less and less likely as time passes.
