Lazy Bee Scripts
Terms and Conditions for Licenses for streaming performances to the Internet

Lazy Bee Scripts Lockdown Streaming Terms and Conditions
1. What we provide
License for an amateur theatre company (or equivalent) to stream on the internet a performance of a script made without an audience present at the performance venue. (This may be a stream of a live performance or a stream of a recorded performance.) These terms will also be applicable if the audience is restricted as the result of any external regulations imposed during a medical epidemic or zombie apocalypse.
For copyright purposes, a livestream performance of a script is treated in the same way as a performance of the script. The author is entitled to a royalty fee for each stream.
Permission to adapt the script to fit within the constraints of livestream. This excludes any right to changes in plot, names, character, speeches or title unless permission has been obtained through Lazy Bee Scripts before the video has been made.

2. Steaming
These terms apply to streaming of performances where the audience can only watch the show at the time of the stream. In this context, a performance is any use of a stage script from Lazy Bee Scripts.
These terms only apply to shows licensed by Lazy Bee Scripts.
The customer shall be wholly responsible for all exhibition of the performance. The streaming licence covers the right to stream only. The video or a video of the stream may not be exhibited in any form unless a separate licence to do so has been obtained from Lazy Bee Scripts.
At the time of application for license to livestream a play or other stage work, the customer shall specify the audience size for the stream. The customer shall ensure that access to the stream is limited to that number.
Livestreaming of interactive Murder Mysteries shall be made only to private streams where the performing group controls access to the stream.
A play reading amongst members of a closed group, where any of the group members could take part in the reading, is counted as a 'Private Video-Conference Play Reading'. For royalty purposes, this is treaded in the same way as a rehearsal or classroom/workshop use (which means that Lazy Bee Scripts does not levy a royalty fee).

3. Credit Shall be Given To the Authors
The title of the script and the name(s) of the author(s) and the text 'By arrangement with Lazy Bee Scripts' must be included as a text display in the stream.
The name(s) of the author(s) must be displayed on all forms of advertising and promotional material, including, but not limited to posters, programmes, hand bills and Internet promotion.

4. Refunds
Streams cancelled before transmission on the internet qualify for refunds of the stream license fees. If you wish to request a refund, please contact Lazy Bee Scripts before taking any other action. (For example, it is easier and cheaper for us to process a refund than if you cancel a transaction with your credit card company.) See our Contact page for contact details. Please quote your order number in any correspondence.
