The Good, The Bad and The Panto by Paul Barron
Production by Whitley Chapel YFC won the national Young Farmers Club panto competition, 2015 (and, of course, all rounds leading up to it).
RolesMinimum Male roles = 7. Minimum Female roles = 4. Minimum total with doubling = 18. Minimum total without doubling = 26. Chorus. The usual pantomime characters translated neatly into a Wild West setting - the villain is a Mexican bandit, the comedy duo are the sheriff's deputies, and so on. Normal panto juxtapositions apply, so make your own mind up as to who plays what!

StyleBritish pantomime with a Wild West setting
SynopsisWithout the financial means to support them both, plucky young Will is denied the privilege of courting the Sheriff's daughter, Alice. Down on his luck, he meets an old cowboy who gives him a map to the desert gold mine - rumoured to be haunted by dangerous ghosts. But these are rumours spread by mexican bandit El Loco, who wants the gold for himself, and may be a great deal more dangerous!
