Robinson Crusoe by Steve Shaw

Robinson Crusoe - The Truth by James Barry
RolesMinimum Male roles = 3. Minimum Female roles = 2. Minimum total with doubling = 5. Minimum total without doubling = 5. No chorus. We assume that Robinson (the hero) is played by a Female as a principle boy and that Robinson's mother is played a Male as a pantomime dame.

SynopsisRobinson Crusoe takes a job on a ship, not realising that the captain is a wicked pirate, seeking treasure. Inevitably, they are shipwrecked, but just when Robinson thinks he's alone on a desert island, his mother and sweetheart come to the rescue.

SynopsisRobinson Crusoe sets sail on a life of adventure but, this being a pantomime, he manages to take his mother, brother and girlfriend along for the ride. Double-crossed by treasure-seeking pirates, he is thrown overboard only to be washed-up on a desert island where he meets... well, rather a lot of people, as it happens, only a few of whom are cannibals...

SCInderella by tlc Creative

It is assumed that this will be played as a pantomime, with the dame (in this case the ugly sisters) played by a male (doubling as both sisters) and the principal boy (Prince Charming) will be played by a female.

SynopsisPantomime with a capital P! All of the familiar panto ingredients and characters are here as the goodies all join together to solve the mysterious case of the missing art works. Holmes is assisted by his housekeeper Dottie the dame, the frustrated inventor of fantastical gadgets, and Baskerville the pantomime dog, in his quest to thwart baddies Mary Arty and Hudson the butcher whose sausages are not all they seem. The story moves at pace to the happy ending with quickfire repartee, reminiscent of Abbot and Costello coupled with lots of action, audience participation, song and dance, a love story and lashings of corny jokes.
