British pantomime with sufficient resemblance to the tale of Robinson Crusoe to excite Daniel Defoe into sarcophagal rotation! Jokes, slapstick and sillyness abound.
Synopsis:
Robinson Crusoe sets sail on a life of adventure but, this being a pantomime, he manages to take his mother, brother and girlfriend along for the ride. Double-crossed by treasure-seeking pirates, he is thrown overboard only to be washed-up on a desert island where he meets... well, rather a lot of people, as it happens, only a few of whom are cannibals...
