L.A. Gendry And The Tomb Of Kalos by Geoff Bamber
RolesMinimum Male roles = 2. Minimum Female roles = 4. Minimum total with doubling = 10. Minimum total without doubling = 18. No chorus. As written, there are four archaeologists and six villagers, but these numbers are flexible in either direction.

StyleOne-act comedy adventure for kids. In theory, there are three locations, but these can be indicated by a minimum of furniture (or lack of furniture).
SynopsisL.A. Gendry, all-action female adventurer, is enlisted to help Professor Polonius and his daughter excavate the recently discovered tomb of the little-known Egyptian King Kalos. The tomb's treasure is to be the centrepiece of a museum for the benefit of all. At least that is the Professor's plan. However the tomb is said to be cursed and criminal mastermind The Scar (incidentally L.A. Gendry's arch enemy) has other ideas.

Like You've Never Seen It Before by Christine Harvey & Elisha Lee

A Little Elfin Magic by Donna Brightwell

Whilst some of the characters are written as male or female, this is largely a matter of personal pronouns, so the script can easily be adjusted to accommodate anything from ten boys through to ten girls.

Lord of the Mince Pies by Ashley Smith

StyleComedy melodrama for kids - with a gruesome flavour! Alternates between full-stage sets and front-of-curtain scenes. Simple props.
SynopsisAn outbreak of Tebbit's Disease (which turns teachers insane and mean) coincides with a heavy fall of snow, cutting off St Hippocampus' school (from the village of Chipping King Edwards). The teachers' nerves are at breaking point, supplies are low and now the roads are cut off by snow! What will the teachers do for food?
(If you need a clue, it is likely that the teachers are familiar with Jonathan Swift's 'A Modest Proposal'...)

Celestena by getting rid of her sweeping brush and Sponaldo by performing at the Royal Palace for the Queen and Prince. It seems a case of so near yet so far as Sponaldo is offered the job but on condition that he has an assistant. Auditions to find one only succeed in getting him robbed of the money that the Queen has paid him as an advance and seeing the job handed over to the dubious Stupendo the Magnificent and his highly decorative assistant, Chantalle. Can Sponaldo and Celestena win through?

Mam, There's a Spaceship in Our Backyard by Sarah Cowan

The gender of the aliens is anyone's guess. (The numbers of MOD personnel, aliens and police could be treated flexibly.) Could be played by children or mixed adults and children.

SynopsisIt is a little-known fact that wizards, witches are not born with the skills of their trade. They must learn them. But over the years magical powers wane and need to be re-energised at the appropriate seats of learning. At least that is the conclusion of Margolin the Wizard and Oksana the Witch, both of whom have hit rock bottom, career-wise. Demand for their spell-casting talents is currently non-existent. They must return to their old school, their old teacher and, most importantly, the energy source that is the Sacred Crystal of Galloran. Easier said than done as they discover that the Sacred Crystal has been transported across a great ocean and only Oksana's less than reliable broomstick is available to help them to catch up with it.
