Aladdin [Short Version] by Geoff Bamber

There is a lot of flexibility available in the casting: it would be possible, for example, to play Aladdin as a pantomime principal boy (played by F) and Widow Twankey as a Dame (played by M).

Babes in the Wood [Short Version] by Geoff Bamber

StyleOne-act comedy (somewhere near an English pantomime, but not exactly that!) for kids. Nominally 5 locations, but no set requirements, so could be performed without set changes.
SynopsisWhen prosperous businessman Edwin Merryweather is mysteriously lost at sea together with his wife, Constance, their two children, Lizzie and Tizzy, are placed in the care of their Aunt Lydia and her new husband, Lemuel Viper.
Viper has his sights set on the Merryweather fortune but he cannot get his hands on that while Lizzie and Tizzy are alive. He hatches a plot to have the girls done to death in Spooky Wood but the ineptitude of the hired killers, the interference of a posse of belligerent elves and the appearance a rather sinister old lady ensure that his plans do not run smoothly.

SynopsisSelf-obsessed prince meets upwardly-mobile kitchen maid, bent on escaping from dreadful relatives. Cinderella has a ball and the plot has a twist.

SynopsisThe Sheriff of Nottingham has taken over Loxley Manor and plans to marry Marian. Prince John is coming to the wedding, together with his personal assistant and a passing bishop. Robin Hood assembles his Merry Men but with unexpected plans.

Jack and his Amazing Multi-Coloured Beanstalk by Geoff Bamber

SynopsisJim Hawkins, now in possession of the tattered map of a distant tropical island, sees a life of adventure and great riches beckoning but, as the story unfolds, he realises that he is not the only one with an interest in the treasure.

SynopsisPoor Mrs Elsie Goose is an all-round good sort, kind and generous to all even though she is as poor as a church mouse. Unfortunately pure goodness of spirit cannot pay Squire Tightfist's rent and so eviction stares her in the face. Help is at hand in the form of the Good Fairy who recognises Mrs Goose's selfless qualities and rewards her with the gift of Priscilla, a goose who lays golden eggs. To all intents and purposes Mrs Goose is now happy. Not so, says the Demon King, long-time adversary of the Good Fairy. He intends to show that nobody is ever really content with their lot. They always want more. Will he be proved right?

SynopsisMalveda, the Evil Spirit, is determined to destroy the royal family. Principal target is Princess Princess, daughter of the household. Despite round-the-clock protection for the princess, Malveda and her evil spells remain a constant threat. It's a good job that roaming adventurers such as the gallant Prince Galliard are on hand to come to the rescue, if required.

The True Story of Richard Whittington Esq. by Geoff Bamber

SynopsisDick Whittington, an orphan, heads for London to seek his fame and fortune. Accompanied by his faithful cat, known as Cat, he gains employment in the home of Lord and Lady Fitzwarren, where he, predictably, falls in love with the daughter of the house, Miss Honoria. Lord Fitzwarren is beset by debts and the predatory threat of the villain of the story, King Rat, who has designs on claiming the family's home. A fanciful scheme to pay off the debts fails and the Fitzwarrens fall into the clutches of the Rats. As Dick desperately tries to think of a solution, the situation is rescued by Cat, returning from an interesting excursion to foreign parts and now armed with special powers, those of the mystic phenomenon known as the Tsobaki!
