Ali Baba and the Four Thieves by Geoff Bamber

SynopsisWhen Makram the miller is robbed of some bags of gold dust he decides to retire and turn over the mill to his elder son, Cassim. However it is his other son, Ali Baba, who locates the thieves' secret cave and retrieves his father's gold. When Cassim learns of the cave his greed gets the better of him. Unfortunately the brutal thieves then get the better of Cassim. To make matters worse they vow to track down whoever found their cave in the first place.
