Synopsis:
In this very well observed play, set during the miners' strike in the 1980s, Essex University students, flat sharing Rachel, Emma and Claire invite Durham miner Frank to stay with them whilst he joins the picket line in the locality. The clash of working class and middle class values come to the fore during his stay and in amusing turns both sides learn from the other.
