Synopsis:
In a small Italian town in days of old, Arlecchino, a happy but none-too-bright servant, tries to keep the peace between his miserly master, Pantalone, and Dottore, a tipsy scholar. Dottore’s son Fabrizio returns from the University and promptly falls in love with Pantalone’s beautiful young wife, Isabella. Meanwhile, the bragging Capitano and his villainous sergeant Brighella arrive, seeking to con the town.
