Style:
A short verse pantomime in two scenes for a small cast. A fun take on the Grimm tale, livened up by some comedy and a twist on the ending. |
Synopsis:
The Miller boasts that his daughter Samantha is so clever she can spin straw into gold. The King hears this and demands that she do so (with the reward of marrying the king). Samantha is a fine young lady, and so on, but has no such skill. Rumpelstiltskin, however, does and completes the task for her. After which, it turns out that Samantha doesn't think much of the reward. |
